Zona Seeker

So I've been grinding the auction house now trying for Zona Seeker but it's just not showing up. I got Golem on the first try and must have now run the AH about 60-70 times but Zona isn't showing.

I know it's a rare item (6% appearance I think) but I would have thought it would have shown by now.

Is there a trick or am I just being really unlucky?

IIRC, getting the Golem magicite first boosts the chance of it showing up to 14-15%

Guess you're just unlucky. The first time I played FFIV on the DS, I literally spent days of killing Flan Princesses, and got plenty of Rainbow Puddings, but no pink tails.

This game is driving me insane more than I remember it! Haha, so many missable bestiary entries as well but can only get the chance of getting them at stages where you are immensely underpowered.

Spending hours grinding atm just so I can kill the 3 x Tonberries in a box :D

You can get missed bestiary entries in the Soul Shrine.

Getting The Golem & ZoneSeek Magicite on the first try at the auction house is a rare sight in the game. HCBailey got them on the first try in the Super Nintendo version on one of his Let's Plays. If you have enough money, you can get them reguardless. Unlike amazon which only takes 2 seconds to get what you want to buy.
