ABP Grind - World 2
Where should I go to grind ABP in world 2? I just got the drake, so can get to a few places. I haven't really grinded at all yet, and realize that I don't need to until later, but wanted to open up a few abilities.

I'm still trying to battle the lobster thing, so I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about! xD Seriously though, I'm sorry I can't help you

Galuf's castle basement is the best place to grind in that world (if not changed, Object d'art gives 4ABP with 2 enemies and 8 with 5 enemies). Either use 2 ninjas with lightning scrolls, Thundara/Ramuh or level 5 Death if you got that. They also give a fair amount of Gil so you should be able to grind up some of that to later parts of the game.

^ Bal Basement with Level 5 Death on memory cursor setting with auto battle on. Spend every gil that you've got on ethers or tents and grind away.

Don't bother with Ethers or Tents. Or rather, don't bother using them.

There's an inn that only costs 50 gil about two screens away from the Bal Basement.

But otherwise, yes, Castle Bal basement is the best spot if you have Level 5 Death.

Castle Bal basement with level 5 death is the best at this point.

If you didn't pick up level 5 death, you can nuke them down really fast with black mages but it obviously limits your job options.

This place stays relevant until Vilias in world 3, and then the final room of the final dungeon.

If anything two characters with about 50 magic can toss lightning scrolls (2 scrolls per battle) which will deal a bit over 4K damage which is sufficent enough to kill them. A bit costy but a fair replacement if you don't want to waste MP (in theory as you could possibly take damage at some point) and forgot to pick up lv 5 Death.

Nope, bad idea. You can't buy scrolls anywhere within Bal or in the surrounding area. So as soon as you run out of scrolls, you're done.

Just keep 99, you'll be fine. It's not like you'll stay there long anyway.

Scrolls can be bought at drachenvale, a short trip north of bal. However, during your first visit to Ba this isn't an option until you finish the following dungeon in the storyline. Ninja with a secondary ability set to any typr of magic should be able to twoshot on throwing the scroll. Or any mage with Throw set as a secondary can do the same.
