Can't set resolution

When I set the resolution to 1440p 60 fps in the launcher the game ignores what i change it to and loads the game in 16:10 4k at 23 fps and it has very jarring screen tearing. setting to a different resolution it just crashes the game upon start up and when I set my tv to that 16:10 4k resolution at 23 hz it also crashes the game trying to start. Anyone know of a way to fix this? also side note the music for the game doesnt work.

I recommend setting it to full screen minimum resolution. That worked best for me for looks. If I recall, it actually uses borderless windowed mode sized to your screen, so the resolution you choose isn't what's displayed on the screen; it's what it draws the game at.

The game also works a lot better with the mod that removes the filtering, but I wouldn't mess with that until you have it actually running better.

Ok I fixed the horrible graphics by launching the game then going to desktop and manually changing it back to 1440p but I still have no music.
