More detailed enemy sprites, detailed battle backgrounds, extra content, more jobs, spell animations, gorgeous portraits.

Awful character sprties is a small price to pay for gorgeous everything. (...Also backgrounds glitch...)
But Pixel Remaster sprites will be just downscaled versions of those sprites, so...
(You know well that GBA sprites are better than Pixel Remaster Sprites)

As long as you use https://steamcommunity.com/groups/ff-modding/discussions/9/451850849177129998/, this version looks fine, but it has some subtle damage nerfing for certain abilities that make this slightly inferior to the GBA version.

GBA version is best (with some emu upscaling), but in any case, the Pixel Remaster is an abomination that needs to be boycotted.

At least keep the Final Fantasy 3 2D version, it's the only thing that needs to be actually released.

I agree. I like the way this one looks, especially the spells, enemy sprites, and battle backgrounds. It's a shame they didn't bother fixing the bugs.

There are more videos on their Twitter now. I like the spell effects and "mode 7-like" airship flying. I don't think it needed to be so low resolution, but they can't please everyone.
