Hero Cocktail/Dragon Power bugs in the GBA one, are they present here?
In the SNES one: You can use Hero Cocktail/Dragon Power to make your level above 99 in battles, which boosts your damage and resistance to status effects/spells greatly.

In the GBA one: You can use Hero Cocktail/Dragon Power to make your level UP to 99, but not above.

How about this version? A quick way to tell would be to use enough HCs or DP Mixes to get above Lv99, attack with your weapon, then use even more HCs or DP Mixes and see if the damage went up.

I don't think this changed from the GBA release. This is basically a port.

Some aspects did change, like the nerfing of Vampire for Blue Mages that made it almost worthless, or the fact that many enemies are in the Back Row now like Liquid Flame that weren't previously.

True. And the wiki doesn't have a complete list.

I will try it out later tonight and see if I can go over 99.

I tested on a Red Mage with a Light Staff. Damage did not get boosted past 99. Regen amount was boosted to level 255.

Man... That really kills how useful the Chemist is in these remakes. If you're Level 99, which doesn't take long at all to reach, there's almost no point to have any Chemist ability...
