Does First Strike stack?

For example, do I get a higher chance of First Strike if i have...

1) Four Ninjas?
2) A Ninja with First Strike ability?
3) Multiple non-Ninjas with First Strike equipped?
etc

2) Seems like a Ninja with First Strike is the same as a Ninja without it. Curiously, though, a Ninja with Vigilance seems to get a lot more First Strikes. Not sure if it's a coincidence.

Nope it doesn't stack.

Without a ninja or the ability equipped, getting a preemtive is a 1/8. With the job or class active, the rate goes up to 1/4. Getting multiple first strike doesn't change this.

Vigilance changes back attacks from 1/16 to 0. I'm fairly sure having both doesn't increase preemtives, but I'm not entirely certain there.

Vigilance removes back attacks from the chance pool, but it seems having First Strike on one (or a ninja) and Vigilance on another doesn't really imrpove chances of a pre-emptive strike. I would say you can get them more *consistently* but overall it could be that RNG is in your favor.
