FINAL FANTASY V

Same Story as FF1 & FF3?
What is with the Story of FF5? Isn't it the same thing as Final Fantasy 1 & 3? The Setting being a world that's governed by the 4 Elemental Crystals of Wind, Fire, Water & Earth, the main villain wants to corrupt the crystals's power so he can drown the world in darkness & its up to the Warriors of Light to stop him.

Will we see this same kind of story again in newer Final Fantasy games or did they move on from that?

They were orbs in FFI (In english, anyway), and in 3 and 4, they needed help from the Dark Crystals as well.

The Orbs were Crystals in the PS1, GBA & PSP versions of FF1.

Here the villain doesn't want to corrupt the crystal, just shatter them, instead.

It's a trope for the plot. I believe the term is MacGuffin.

FF6 and onwards show more originallity for the plot and don't rely on Warriors of Light or Elemental Crystals. Dissida brings that back.

2 is different.
2, 6 and XII are very copy/paste from Star Wars.

The Crystals themselves typically have very little to do with the actual plot though, they are just standard FF affair that carries over from one game to the next.

XII is the Ivalice Legend series.

It's a huge clone of Star Wars. The characters are very similar to characters in A New Hope, and the music and theme is very Star Wars.
