Every chest that doesn't just have gil has monsters in them and the final sergeant outside the doors has a blue mage spell you can get early if you take out his dogs first. So you can see why getting everything from this place can take a bit of time.
There's a ribbon in the third basement, the spell Esuna on the first floor, a Main Gauche on the outer wall's right tower, and an Elven Mantle on the outer wall's left tower. Those are the most valuable items and Esuna can be bought in Lix for 3,000.

Which would be fun if you got the Chicken Knife early in the game. IMO, it's better to get a late-game reward for managing to never run.
