Airship will not land on water...

I am in the mergerd world. I have the airship and have saved Cid, afterwhich he modified the airship to be a submarine. The problem I am having is that the airship will not land on water. The in-game config option says that the Airship can 'land on land or sea'. I have my keybinding set to 'J' for landing and in the config menu it states that landing the airship is done with the 'J' key when over land or water. The airship lands fine on land. It will not land on water. I have tried every key on my keyboard, I have tried remapping the key to another key, and I have reset key bindings to default, all to no avail. Any ideas?

That makes no sense, since you need to be in the water to even submerge. you can't even get the last 2 tablets without using the submarine (without cheating that is).
Edit: went to my save in the merged world, used A (Zoom out - Previous page - Switch to Alies/foes) to land on the water and submerge and S (Zoom - Run Away - next page) and it worked fine.

Thanks Natzor. I used (Zoom out - Previous page - Switch to Alies/foes), which is the same way to bring the sub up in world 1. This will not allow me to land on the water. Nor will any other button for that matter. I have also read through walk throughs to see if I did something out of order or if I missed content that would allow me to land in the water. I think this is a glitch as the in-game config tells me which button to push based on how I have my keys binded. And I have set these to default just to make sure, and using the default doesn't work either. Pretty sure this is a glitch, which is a bit frustrating considering this is my first full play through, and I cannot complete anything in the water or under water.

If you have an Xbox controller plugged in, you can use the LB and RB to change between Sub, Boat and Airship. Honestly, controller is the best way to play this game anyway. Good luck!

I had the same Problem in World 3. But now it's possible to land on water. I was now at cid and he made a submarine for my airship. I used the keys x and y for this normally. But curiosally in world 3 it helped not. I now need the z key for it [to land on water] (the z key isn't in my configurations for keyboard, i think this is a bug because the american keyboard key i now to use).

Ich hatte das Problem auch in Welt 3 (Exdeat's Welt), dass ich nicht auf dem Wasser landen konnte. Ich hatte erstmal weitergespielt und mir jetzt von Cid das U-Boot geholt. Normalerweise nutze ich die Tasten x und y für dieses (was vorgegeben ist in den Konfigurationen), das ging auch in den anderen Welten. Hier in Welt 3 aber nicht mehr.

Es ist jetzt die z-Taste zum im Wasser laden. Die z-Taste nutze ich aber gar nicht in meinen Konfigs. Also ein Bug, sodass jetzt für das landen die amerikanische Tastatur (Taste) benutzt wird.
