What is the recommended level for running the endgame dungeon??
So I am at the final dungeon of the normal playthrough, where I will face Exdeath once and for all. On the first time I beat the game I thnkthat I barely scrapped by arriving at around level 40. My characters are lower than that currently.... So I am wondering whatl level would someone who has no lifed the hell out of this game come back to the rift at?

Level 40-42 is pretty much what you should be around. If anything what abilities you use and jobs you use matters more (also using freelancers to get the Stats from your leveled up jobs/mastered jobs helps). Then again if you know how the job system works and can make some powerful combinations you can probably get away with being a couple levels under.

I usually go inside with lvl 70-75, it helps if you want to kill omega and shyriu

haha I dont think Im gonna get close to that level unless I spend an inside amount grinding XP. Speaking of, in World 3, where is the best place to reliably grind XP and AP. I know under Bal Castle nets 4-8 AP per fight and is located conveniently next to a save point, but they provide poor XP

Just grind in the sealed temple, the enemy encounters net around 1.5 - 2k exp in the starting area, the last area (after defeating the prison keeper) I believe nets around 3-4k Exp. As for ABP, you would usually go for movers, but for a more consistent ABP gain, Break blade hitting King behemoths gives you 10-20 ABP depending on the encounter (you should encounter them at least like 1/2 the time in the Interdimentional rift with the Crystalized map, don't remember the specific map name on it). If you were on the gba version, you could quicksave abuse for encountering movers about 1/10 times, but since it as been patched, they rarely show at all.

That's too much. You can easily do it with levels around 40. Its more important to make a good plan for the special fights rather levels. Here you are few ideas of my play:
- Omega: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzhG2l8x4pk
- Shinuy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wW0SssLstQU
- Final Boss: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2Fvarj629I

I dunno if it's just me but I used to have issues with the Rapid fire strat missing Omega from time to time (although I believe it is supposed to always connect?), if this issue still occurs, use Bard and Romeo's balad to Briefly stop Omega (has to be applied over the course of the battle, usually about every 1-2 turns), and cast reflect on your team, bouncing Thundagas onto him. As for healing, White wind goes through Reflect so someone with blue magic should be good. Either that or if you know your mixes, make your team have "heavy" status, and the only thing omega should have to be able to kill you is Wave cannon. Everything else should miss. Still have to reflect magic because the bastard has built in reflect that can't be dispelled.

Also alternatively, equip Water absorbing rings if you don't want to cheese Shinryu with dragon Lances/have issues stealing them to avoid a certain death on him if you plan on fighting fair (Apollo's hearp deals extra damage to dragons and Shinryu doesn't have that many resistances as i know of other than status ailments - Darkness)
