Wasn't this originally going to be a Touhou Game?

I remember seeing some video about this game a year ago, with the playable character being Cirno. Kinda curious as to why this has been changed, was it due to copyright problems?

Older versions of this game did feature Cirno. But the project was never going to be a Touhou game. That was only something I added in older versions because I thought that Mayflies wings resembled Cirnos.

However, since that has happened the man who holds the rights to Project Touhou, Fumio @Ruw Oyamada has stated that From Soy Sauce is not authorized to use characters that belong to Team Shanghai Alice.

But it still should be possible to release Cirno's model as game mod, I guess?
