Does the switch version actually add anything?
And with all the IAP's this and the " founder's starters, etc " packages for the new one coming up... lol.
not even a hard pass, this is an easy pass.
also the graphics look virtually identical on the Switch's squished screen.
" hey kids, pay more for a gamethat's been free for years on PC, all you need to do is own a pricey Switch console, and have no self respect ! "
I definitely don't want to tell anyone how to spend their money, but just to pull back the curtain a bit on pricing: LT2483 has a good read on it. We invested a lot into Relic Hunters Zero: Remix from the new art to the new soundtrack not to mention the price of just porting the game to a new console altogether. For the Switch, it's worth the price tag.
At the same time, Relic Hunters Zero has always been free on Steam and we wanted to make sure that was always the case for players that had been enjoying the game free for years. This way, if you want the new skins, the new soundtrack, etc. and don't mind waiting, you can wait for the Remix update to hit Steam. If you'd like to play the new content now, play it portably, play it couch co op with your friends, you can pick it up on Switch for $12.99.
Different players have different wants and needs, so we're happy if folks want to wait or if they want to pick up the Switch title now.
