Will this game be fixed?
Due to the negative response by a lot of players and quite a few criticisms about this game I am just wondering if there are any plans to take them on board and improve upon the game?

Mainly anything to do with fixing the following:

Optimisation and fps drop above low settings. Crashing from time to time
Objects such as grenades or dropped guns leaving bounds even in large enough playable spaces (Mine is 2.5x2.5)
Overuse of recycled assets from previously paid games
Recycled music from previously paid games
Transitions between scenes leaving you inside objects after forcing your location in the last
Lift placement not leaving enough room for you to stand and coming up from underneath you
Lack of shooting feedback, visual or audio especially with bullet sponge enemies
Spawning ammo clips when interacting with the screen in the training room or the boot at the beggining of the garage before it lets you open it
Ammo clip animation showing two clips going into the gun at the same time when reloading manually
An extreme lack of missions and content

I believe these bugs/issues to be objectivley detrimental to the game or techincal faults and without fixing means the game is incomplete. The length of the game and the recycled asset issue is less objective as it is about worth and price, but has been mentioned so many times in other threads by upset players that I felt its worthy for them to be put on the list and ask if this will be changed.

So should we expect this game to be worked on any more and are we able to make suggestions or will the game be left in its current state?

If I had to guess, since this is being released as a teaser for the movie release, there won't be much more done with this game. I could be wrong and hope I am, but historically once the movie comes out these things tend to lose interest at the studios.

I'm thinking the same way, it is usually the case. Hope we are wrong as well. Not only do I simply want a good John Wick game to play because, well, John Wick, but seeing another quite eagerly awaited vr game not live up to its promise worrys me about the attitude towards Vr. It can be so much more than its current game lineup so the whole gimmick and lack of effort seen from those who are in the position to make great games will put people off. I would really like to hear what the Devs have to say about the situation and how seriously they treat it.

Is there anything you can do to describe why it crashes? Anything you're doing to make it crash or is it just randomly crashing?
LemonyNebula Feb 12, 2017 @ 6:43pm
Pretty random, a few times it was just on startup where it gave an error message and a couple was mid mission when it didn't. Instead the screen just lags behind you with huge frame skips for about 1-2 seconds then freezes. A little bit sickening in vr I have to say. Music continues and it refuses to close. Seems to slow the whole computer so you have to wait a while for alt f4 or ctrl alt del to be able to close it and get back to normal.
It happened once in the training ground but a few times on the rooftops on the second mission. It does not always happen and length of play does not seem to make a difference however so would not be able to say how to replicate it sadly.

Specs:
GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
Intel Core i7-6700k
16GB Ram

Any idea if the devs have any plan on touching any of the topics on that list?

I'm trying to gather information so it can get passed onto the developers. Have you tried verifying the game cache? Appreciate it!

I did yes at the first sign of startup crashes. Thought it worked as I could open the game but experienced some in game after. Not played too much since as it put me off a bit. I can have another go tomorrow if it helps, see if I can work out more. I don't want to dislike the game but with the reasons above I find it difficult to even want to play really.

I understand your frustration. If you have any further feedback, please do share it. Thanks!

Tested it again. On the first attempt today it crashed the same way as before, at the beggining of the rooftops. Before I could close it fully I saw a major memory leak that slowed the whole computer down in the games process within taskmanager.
second attempt I did not use the sniper rifle and the level began playing fine. When I died I restarted on the rooftops and all weapons worked fine. I kept dying and retrying to test and it kept working.
So I tried to restart from the appartment scene before. Once the rooftops loaded in, I did not use any weapons and just left my headset on the floor to keep an eye on the taskmanager. It crashed again and the memory went up to ridiculus levels and slowed the comp again.

Im not sure if its the sniper, the plant pot you load in or move or wether its just chance but something is causing a memory leak. It is a bad one at that.

Please just give us more maps, that would be good.

It's a shame, products like this are making VR less desirable.

Any new info since the most recent post update in the discussions? I did post a lot of different things on this but haven't really had many answers on what will be and what wont be worked on.

Also I have a question, did the minimum requirements for this game increase? I could have sworn it started at a GTX 970 on release, but now it says GTX 980.

Seems lazy to just up the requirements after release and a bit dishonest to those who bought it with a GTX 970 in their rig.

Still looking into it, trying to see if I can get a general update on what the team is working on.

Yeah, just checked and they specs have changed from release.. Will look into that as well.
