Oculus rift instructions (how to play)

Ok I've seen a few people asking for oculus support, the game works perfectly with oculus but it needs a little tweaking, go to the folder where the game is installed or make a desktop shortcut, on either the .exe or the shortcut right click and go to properties, go to compatibility settings and set to windows 7, now when you run the game from steam VR it will work just fine.

that works but here's a even more stupid question how do you load your gun ?

Place the gun to your hip and it will reload.

I had height on vive set wrong ..probably will be diff ..but curious how you set your height settings for best results ..

You can download a thing called advanced settings for steam VR, this lets you set height and even lets you move boundaries around in game.

Thanks again System_Smoke! I had no clue about this easy fix for certain VIVE games! I wonder what it is about running the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode that straightens things out? Regardless, I was only able to play around at the practice range for a couple mins before leaving my house but I can't wait to get back and continue my game.

By the way this thread should be stickied. It's beneficial to the developer as they will get more sales when people realize they can play this on a rift.

No worries glad to help, no idea why it works to be honest but hey ho, all I need now is a bigger room, this game needs a lot of space to get the most out of it.

Another confirmation that this windows 7 thing works. Although make sure you have a lot of room or you cannot pick up guns...I have asked for some sort of help with that but I doubt it will be quick, if at all.

How much room are we talking about? I have a 360 setup that is just shy from the correct 2mx1.5 area. Has worked out fine in other games that require roomscale, but definitely not optimal. As long as things are placed in a circle around you, not making you take 3-4 steps from the center to grab them, then I should be ok.

I have the required space recommended and haven't had any issues so far though I've only done the training and level one.
