Dealing with floors next to dirt ground?

I'm just starting out and I've built an adobe house with proper flooring. However, I'm noticing that when I walk into the door, I'm getting stuck in this tiny gap between the adobe flooring and the dirt block next to it, making me stop walking until I let go of a key and try walking again. Am I just supposed to get to the point where all ground everywhere has been replaced by some kind of flooring or am I missing something silly here?

Is there a visible downwards slope on the edge of the dirt tile? Some block forms will "merge" with surrounding natural stone & dirt, while others will not. If you used the "floor" form for the adobe, try switching to the "cube" form (or vice versa if you currently have the "cube" form in place). Once you find a form that merges, you should only need to switch the block under the doorway, and possibly the ones on each side of it under the wall.

That did it, thanks! Though now there's this weird looking bit inside the house where the adobe floor meets the adobe block but I guess there's no real way to make a house look perfect, huh?
