Wild Beets?

Okay... I have nearly circumnavigated the world looking for beets. None of the plants I find turn out to be beets. I got frustrated, so I tried digging up suspicious looking grass to see if maybe there were beets under it. Nope. The task said search the forest, but that didn't work. So I've searched other biomes too...

Is this a glitch? Are there no beets? Or am I doing something wrong or looking in the wrong place?

... circumnavigated the globe. swam across an ocean (twice). climbed the highest, snow-peaked mountain. gave up. climbed down the other side. found 1x wild beet at the foot of the mountain.

and never used the beets map overlay i guess?

when u open the mini map, theres a drop down menu and serveral other options ... take ur time and use them, theres also a beets overlay

Hey man... it was a mythic quest to find those beets. Like freakin Gilgamesh over here.

...though the beets, while healthy for me, don't seem to do much in terms of immortality.

don't feel bad, so far i have the only two grains of rice on the server, i'm afraid to plant them and have them die off, lol.
