ECO steam engine start - Power grid has disabled the generator to save resources

if anyone can tell me what im doing wrong, thank you.

the steam engine will not start up because of "Power grid has disabled the generator to save resources."

ive tried to look every possible source, and watched tons of videos and look on wikis i cannot find the answer?

my electric grid is on, my sewage filter and jack pimp are on and are all green ready to go acknowledging the electrically grid, so i know i have it, its just not running or staying on?

As long as you don't have any machines requesting electric power it will stay turned off. If it's still not working when you start work on a machine that needs electric power you may have placed it too far away.

i tried all of those things for hours, i just used a command to get the powerchest and i got the solar panel to start my electric power. even the generator that takes gasoline i think also wouldnt work? the only thing i got to work was the wind turbine, and solar panel? so far...
