Disconnected from the game constantly since purchase

I bought the game yesterday and have not been able to play the single-player version without being disconnected at least every 5 minutes but sometimes every 1-2 minutes. (It takes 2 mins to load the map). So for hours at a time last night I was spending about 50% of my time in-game and 50% of my time re-loading. I have now been disconnected at least 30 times with only 6 hours of playing time.

To compare, after I got fed up with wasting my time on this game last night, I opened up Starcraft 2 and played 7 uninterrupted 4v4 games in a row with absolutely no lag at all, and with 8 different people from around the world coordinating more than a thousand human actions per minute.

I have a hard time understanding why I am constantly being kicked out of this game, especially when I am on the single-player option, whatever the name of that may be. It had a specific name that mentioned no reliance on other players. So who am I disconnecting from and why? Sometimes I am just sitting there holding a shovel and I get disconnected while not even moving.

No other game disconnects like this or even close. Just before opening this I played Minecraft for 2 hours on a friends home server that is hosted on his own low budget non gaming PC and we had no issues at all with connectivity or lag or disconnections. We had 4 players on there just fine.

This is clearly no good. Can you send an email with as much information as you can to [e-mail] so we can get on this?

I'd send in an email with the information just in case you have a similar but different problem or the extra information makes troubleshooting easier.

i have the same problem. i was playing perfectly then my girls pc started to get disconected from server, then my pc started to do that too, in every server we go. is not more than a few minutes ( and sometimes is right when we enter) and we see the red icon and we lose connection to server.( both pc are in a home lan )

now its unplayable. i can only join some servers (others keeps loading with the gear simbol and no text like % or anything ) and i get disconnected between 0 and 3minutes. no matter if im alone or with my girl. i uninstalled and installed again and the problem persist.

My Old 6yr FX8350 setup and my new pc built at the end of Aug with I8700k setup with both having 1080GTX ( mind you that my Network card is also Updated to current ) ....and i still get disconnected from servers in Eco with both of them......and when i play on PLANET SIDE 2 with 300+ Users in the RENDER DISTANCE OF 5000m Shooting ... driving Aircraft and Tanks and ATVs DROPShips spamming the Whale Horn .......... NOT One Disconnection. .... ...... I bet that this next update they proclaim wont fix this problems but instead be more bugs...

played fine when i first downloaded it- played for almost 7 hours- loved it- then next day ( updated ) and nothing i cant load a game on my own p.c and now i'm on my husbands 2 grand p.c that runs everything like butter and i cant even get past the avatar part- the screen loads in all white with the list of things to change but no toon image- i just hit save to see if the map would load- nope all white screen and just the command's pop up -fix or i'm wanting a full refund- this is b/s and i know i'm not the only one

I'd recommend Rust. It takes a bit of system resources, but the game actually works.

What's better, is when you cut a tree down in Rust, it doesn't make you feel like you just ruined the whole planet, which would get really annoying if I actually played Eco.
