Post your favorite map generation seeds!
Hey all. This question goes out to you server admins. What seeds are y'all using? Do you have a particularly good seed that you use for map generation?

I'll start

8675309 (like the song). Actually a great seed. Fairly flat with some very awesome plateus on default.
8675308. More mountainous but also much more forest covered that the 09 variant. Oddly, much of the coal and ore is located underwater, in HUGE quantities.


By the way, we have tried generating a map multiple times from the seeds above and the shape is roughly the same. There's about a 95% similarity between each regeneration.

So, how about you guys?

Seeds in Eco simply provide some randomness, but without the whole exact config and version you cannot get the same results.

So when I delete my world and not the worldgenerator file, I will get a map with the same seed but which is also different to the last one?

No, you will get the same map as long as the Worldgenerator file is identical, if you change anything, including seed, you will get a different one.

8675309 8675308 these seeds are very nice indeed. i played around in worldgenerator.eco TEMPLATE files and ended up with some insanely satisfying results, here is the files i tweked just copy and paste at the right spot in the generator files. thank me later.

Don't forget seeds are only the same if you have identical WorldGenerator.eco files.
