Well, of course if you want to play it like new "extinction" mode, it's up to you play it by those updated broken rules. I think someone even proposed something like this: meteor hits on day 1, and you try to preserve as much seeds as possible and then rebuilding a new world after meteor hits.
Aside from that I didn't know you could start anew after the meteor o.O
But at present taking a break, last I saw things were browning fast even underwater. It's a good game for sure so curious to see it's development.
pleas put skill system old type, now kan due nothing more.
There are some command like "/give stone 20" or somethnig to provide you resources of any kind. And for starting anew after meteor it was just suggestion for new possible mode for game, not something that actually exists now. Though you can set meteor on first day I think in server config, but afaik you can't do much after that?
I've managed to make a tight pineapple farm (all tiles used, no spacing) in the same place as other jungle plants were dying. Whatever the issue is, is not overcrowded. Maybe they are generated with old age and die of old age?
It's because they are cultivated. It worked like this before - you can plant 5x5 if conditions are right for plant. But self-grown plants will die. I seen it like that - if I had plant that was not cultivated and planted 24 around it, next day it was dead, so I needed to re-plant it.
Afaik there is no old age. Farmed plants can use all soil minerals and die probably (or at least provide less yield), but this applies probably for both cultivated and wild plants.
Actually if I recall correctly, it shown in farming tool info. So you can make one and check it for those plants, it will show if they overcrowded or not, or if other conditions are not met
Not sure, don't think so though, since everyone planting it like that. Maybe growth time is a bit longer?
PS: Actually in other areas it's not that bad. Maybe some stuff wasn't rendered? Who knows...
