Electronics connecting trough claims?

One player is making Oil Drilling near to my claim and all our elecronic devices keep connecting to each others...
So he have 10 pump jacks and wind turbine that generates enough power to keep those pump jacks running but still it starts my steam generators? :O
How is this possible even we have our devices on separate claims and no authoriced to each other claims?

We also both see that our electricity is combined as it shows 2000W in both claims...
There is also quite long distance between both claims :/ atleast 4 claims.

Electricity is currently global and does not care about claim borders, that works as intended. We plan to expand that later on with authorization for electricity usage and the option to require payment for using it.

That is exactly what I tought too... It is still kinda stupid that it uses my steam generator as "primary" source of power and I need manually shut it down every time I leave the game or it will be used until it runs out of charcoal :/

Well for the time being this is why government ran power is useful.
