look I'll try to help you as someone who has some solid computer knowledge. Now you say files are corrupt, which files and what problem is this corruption causing? I need to know the actual problem your facing.

i have (to make it easier for ((You)) to understand):, i finally got My Files, dated from around the 17th OCT, before the NOV update (this new version, i guess it's called version 9.1) (the one that totally messed up the UI and all the STEEL images)

so i'm trying to go ahead and get back THERE, to REVERT those ridiculous changes, as a Gamer, who pays and paid Money, i need and want HELP Here, regardless, if not, i totally understand, i guess that's OK, an OKAY practice, and thing for a company to do, i wouldn't know, i just don't want to get banned for actually needing This, and feeling bad about it, Deep Inside

-------- ((The Problem, is with The Logs, it says the server has crashed and, HECK, it even tells Me, it says "sorry buddy you just can't play no more", even though, i spend about 50 Dollars On This Marvelous Game, almost seems like wasting Time, for such a spectacular Modern Game

Alright, it sounds like you where playing in october and your world doesn't work with the new update.
There are a few ways to fix this, if you want to use the new update, you'll likely have to restart in a world on this update, you could use admin commands to spawn yourself some stuff to get a head start, to jump to where you were in your old world.

Another choice is to install the version of the game that was before the 9.1 update, to do this you go to your steam library and right click the game, go to properties and then the beta tab.

right click>properties>Betas >drop down menu> version 9.0.5

9.0.5 is the version used on Oct 17th, before the Nov updates. and switching to that version should allow you to run your world as is.

Another option to keep your world and play the new update is to follow this instruction on the wiki.

to update your world to the newest version. But make sure to back-up your world before you try incase something goes wrong.

((Aye)), yes, i have the BETA installed, i need an admin to get My Files Back, i know it sounds hard, it know it sounds tough, and i know it seems impossible

but with Good Help, all things are possible (i've got the BETA installed, but it has to do something with HOST MIGRATION file, which i accidentally lost, and, the LOG files are not compatible)

if this does not get fixed, i'm not spending another hour, or second, on this sick excuse for a Game, that does not give players what they ask for, when it's such a simple fix

and WILL contact steam support. No Matter What.

Eco isn't a finished game, its in early access... Devs can not get files back that you deleted, though you could try verifying game files. You could also just uninstall and reinstall and that should get you back any game files you deleted.

it sounds more like you just want to be angry about something not really part of this game. the game does not delete any files on your computer that are note game files and doesn't have anything that destroys things on a computer. Devs are not able to make files magically reappear.

and for the note you can threaten to go to steam support or whatever all you want, I was just hoping to help a player get his stuff running or back to running rather.

well, Fine. Fantastic, maybe one of these days a real Gaming Company will take over This Project, instead of modifications, so we can start progressing instead of losing everything, both physically and the opposite, Thank You for Your Help. I Will Check The Store Page, and Re-Download The Game, hopefully by then, some-how, some-way, we can get someone in charge of actually making the Game not lose everything you've done just because some kind of update wants to destroy your property and wipe the server

i will guess, Then, without modifications, hopefully a company, that is Great at finding unique ways to help, will help Me download a Real Game, instead of just truly dying off everytime an update comes out

otherwise, i'll just wait another 20 years until the silly little Game is actually finished to try playing It Again.

Also, despite trying really hard i did not understand your problem at all. I guess you tried to revert to some old version? From one of the hotfixes to 9.1? No idea. In case that's the case, you will - as with all reverts - need to uninstall the game, delete the whole game folder (usually Steam/steamapps/common/Eco) and reinstall the game at the desired version. Please note that savegames cannot be downgraded, it's not supported, even though in some cases it may work. If you want to save them, save the Steam/steamapps/common/Eco/Eco_Data/Server/Storage directory and restore it after you followed the reinstall steps.

And no - we indeed cannot restore files deleted by you.
