Making a Dedicated server without the main game

Can I build a dedicated server without installing the main game in the same PC? My plan is to install an Eco Server to server-PC and connect to it by my own gaming-PC. And of course other players from Internet.

This command didn't succeed (didn't nothing): steamcmd.exe +login anonymous +force_install_dir "./Eco Server" +app_update 739590 validate +quit

There is a ecoserver.exe or ecoserver32.exe in a subdirectoy or your eco-installation. You just need to run this one and you are done.

Yes, you can download just the server on our SLG website or on Steam Tools. Or via SteamCMD: steamcmd.exe +login anonymous +app_update 739590 validate +quit (If that doesnt work for you, you need to check on your side, we use it for our official servers and it works very fine)
