Help Required To Build

Ho folk . I have watched a heap of videos on building a cabin but none of them explain how to get the logs the right shape to make the walls, One said to use the F key , another to use shift

Would someone be so kind as to fully explain how to get the different shapes to do the walls and the roof. I know how to place them using the hammer, i just can not get them,

To get the form selection screen you need to press F while having the hammer selected and a block that can be placed that way in your carry slot. The carry slot will then indicate the letter "F" on the icon.

What I do - when I have my hammer selected and, say, hewn logs picked up, I hit tab and then you can click the shape box near the bottom to choose the shape you want to build. Then hit tab again to start building. Probably the same as hitting F, but I've never hit F so not sure.

and, for end this topic of help...
If the list in F (keep pressing) does not suit you;
Then you must wait for a higher level of material, such as brick, lumber, concrete, etc.
Because the more the material is T2 T3 T4, the more it offers you choices of different shapes.
