ECO 10 Asset issues on existing local (solo) game
Ramps are missing, stone roads are replaced by something that looks like some stones and a basket bound together with rope. Picking them up and placing them back down fixes the issue, but I'd rather not have to pick up and replace my entire road network. Less impactful but still there, all doors are closed and stairs are misaligned. May be more issues but these are what I've seen so far.

same here...also a problem with the electric, i guess they forgot an "0" ? and i couldn't find flax. When i start a new game i find flax...

i hope they will fix that

Migration of old worlds is only made for them to load, any incompatible data will be dropped and non-migratable things (like Stone Roads and Blocks that rotated) are kept as is. Proper migration is unfortunately not supported for major updates due to the massive amount of changes, we generally recommend to start a new game, it's also required for the new world generation.

How do you handle when your 9x world => 10 suddenly requires flax, and the world does not contain any?

You can spawn it via /give or use the /plant command to spawn them naturally. (Make sure to do a backup before you try development commands)
