Hi SLG-Dennis,
Now, my question is - in continuance of nicopatche - how did you guys do it differently with the STEAMDECK, considering it doesn't have the computational horsepower to run a server parallel to the game, like a PC can do?
Isn't there a way to do the same with GEFORCE NOW? By implementing a feature, that you just can join an actual dedicated server?
As for the requirement about a Cloud Save, how about it just saves a form if init-file that just saves your last/favorites of prior connected servers?
Steam Deck also hosts a local server on the deck, it is one of the reasons why Eco doesn't work too well on the Deck - we never made any adjustments for it, the rating for the Deck was provided by Steam, not us, we don't officially support it. The problem with GFN is that Steam Cloud needs to be enabled, which we can't. If that wasn't necessary, at least joining multiplayer servers should be possible, but singleplayer would not work at all and cause a lot of confusion for players, which would be very suboptimal.
thanks for the clarification
