Eco

Those ugly minecraft graphics killed it for me;
Animals are normal but the threes and the land are "squares "... :steamfacepalm:
Plus in the trailer the dude is working the land with a hoe and there is a wolf right at his side...
WTF , why isn't the wolf attacking you ?
Will pass this one.

It's difficult to make a good landscaping game. This is a niche, and it's too bad that you don't find it enjoyable. Keep in mind that it is pre-alpha and lacking a lot of features. It's not a minecraft-y sandbox game, but a game where the goal is world survival. Wolves do not attack players, but play a vital role in keeping the elk and hare population down. It's all part of the eco system, hence the name. I figure you didn't really get what the game was about when you wrote this.

If the game is about survival and "ecosystem" , then at least make it realistic.
You should inform yourself OR just try and take a hike in a wolf territory and get close to it and see what happens.

What's next I can swim by the side of a White Shark ? :steamhappy:

ignore him mate, only fanboy idiots reply with things like "i could tell you didnt understand the game"

Well, apparantly none of you do get the point of the game. It's not about super realism, nor is it even remotely finished. It simulates a simplistic eco system, and as of now a lot of "realistic" stuff is out of the picture. That doesn't mean it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. It just means that you aren't appreciating what they're trying to do with it, hence "you don't understand it".

I even explained why, and you completely disregarded it. You're not being constructive, you're just being toxic.

And "at least make it realistic"? You think realism is the easiest part of making a game? Or even a priority? Dude, gameplay > realism. If you like real life so much, stop playing games.

its to bad some animals dont attack players like bears if you get to close to there young so forth.

alot of reason why some animals went extent is due to point that they where dangerous to humans. for example rattle snakes in some part of WI. people found them dangerous so goverment put bountys on them and we hunted most of them out of state.

This game looks a lot better than minecraft imo.

The reason it looks "minecrafty" is because they want it to be used for education too, and do you think schools will use over a thousand dollars for each computer just to be able to run a game? Heck no (unless students themselves pay for the computers, but they dont want to pay for such a computer either)

^^ This.

If the wolf wanted to attack it could, and you can swim next to a shark; there are tv shows about it. As for the graphics, building with blocks is the simplest method of allowing destructible and creatable terrain & buildings. Speaking of which, do you live near a city which doesn't have square skycrapers?

The most obvious answer to this would just be: This game is in alpha, not many systems are in place, that's like saying "why can't we purchase the game on steam yet? 0/10 never buying this" the reason is because it takes time to make/finish a game.

This game looks BAD. Sorry devs, but you should try to get a better engine.

All these idiots caring about graphics over the actual game, literally the DUMBEST ♥♥♥♥ I'VE EVER SEEN.

The amount of people saying the graphics are bad and "minecrafty" are giving me zika, nowhere near as weak as cancer.

Everyone has their own opinion , telling someone is dumb because they show a different opinion is very childish , but don't worry , you will grow up some day , hopefully.

To be fair, there're many exceptional&famous old school games that are still alive today. Yes, their graphics suck, but their gameplay are something that modern games can't ever be compete with.

A game can't be judge purely by its graphics. Otherwise, I feel very sorry to those who do, cause they have had& will be missing out a lot of good games out there. Even worse, one might not ever able to experience what an 'exceptional game' is in their lifetime, because modern companies don't seem to able to pull that off anymore.
