ECO: Cooking Simulator 2021 (in the Dark)

Don't get me wrong guys, I'm already hooked by this game, so this critique is to be taken with a pinch of salt :)

Is it just me or is it weird that I can craft 21395487632 different kind of foods, but that there is not one "wall-lamp" that actually fits on a wall tile without hovering mid air?
I know it's the block system, but why even create "wall-lamps" then at all?

And no, placing those clumsy flat plain cubes somewhere in the middle of a slick wall is a nono, mainly playing this for creative purposes and I just wonder why those wall lamps even exist.

Guess ceiling lamps is the way to go?

How do you guys solve this "issue"? Do you ignore the gap and hovering lamps or do you build your houses of those square blocks instead of "real" walls?

The wall-lamps do fit on every full block as you mentioned, it's just how the building and block system works technically. Changing that would be a massive overhaul of the backend that I doubt could be seen anytime in the near to medium future.

No chance of e.g. making wall lamps being 2x1 and giving 1 block no hitbox or the ability to "snap" onto walls?

Or maybe a chance of decorative wall blocks that have smooth edges to the slick walls but some kind of socket for wall mounted things?

I really love the creative aspect of this game and hope for more love for the detail once you can spare dev time for such things. :)

I guess that'd be possible, but a very workaround so very unlikely to happen.

It would also be possible to make specific socket walls, but the issue there always is on how benefitting is a specific feature or in this case new block for all players, as that in the end will determine if it is being worked on and with which priority. Currently we're still adding more alternatives, then we need a lot of new T3 materials, as that one direly needs love and in the end everyone wants painted blocks as well, as I have heard *g*

So sure - that would work, but I cannot say if that ever will make it to the game.
