Reset Skill Points

after ECO has changed a lot of its commands over the years its hard to find a command list online that actually works and has a current up to date command list.
/givepointsto no longer works and it seems that was the only way to actually REMOVE Specialization Points.. I invested a point into a skill that I did not mean to, which I thought, 'no matter I will just remove that one via commands and give myself a single skill point' which was a mission and a half, I did the /point command (after trying hundreds of other variations with a list of commands list that disappears after a short time VERY ANNOYING) which gave me 40 points, which it seems I cannot remove and has now ruined my experience for the game if I am unable to remove these points, I've tried every 'reset' command which has only reset and revoked my learnt skills and levels though annoyingly my skill points still remain on 41 and seems it can only be added up and not removed....

Any help would be greatly appreciated and if anyone knows of a command list that is actually updated and doesn't show me useless, outdated, no longer working commands that would be even better as the In-Game command list is annoying to use and even more so annoying that it vanishes after a short time, so just to look at commands I have to retypes it numerous times just to view the list of commands.

Eco does not have a command for what you're searching for, I'd recommend using NidsToolbox mod for that. Keep in mind most of our commands are for QA purposes and not intended to be used by players at all - and in any case only if they know what they're doing and have tested them before. The command list on the wiki is as up-to-date as the ingame list is.

Ahh I see, that makes a bit more sense then :) thank you for pointing that out. I just kept resetting my skills, assigning points, resetting skills and repeat until I had my 8 Points again and was a bit more careful this time I assigned my points :P

I've been waiting for them to put the refund back since 2019. A tip, it would be great to be able to allow refunds for players only at lvl 1. It would be even better to give this decision-making power to the server ADM instead of the developers, because the game was made for the players, isn't it!?

whoever though adding in the /creative option but not giving us a way to turn it off needs to be fired, you guys just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ my 3 weeks of work because NONE of these damn commands will take this back

I'm struggling to understand the comment. The commands I posted absolutely work, but you could be seeking to do something different and there are different commands for alternative actions. Explain what problems you are encountering in your game and I'll do my best to help you out.

Please improve your tone. That command is a QA command and not intended for player usage. You can restore a backup of your world to fix your issue, you can find those in steam/steamapps/common/Eco/Eco_Data/Server/Storage/Backups. Move the files applying to your savegame from before using the command to the Storage folder.
