Auto Eat/ Auto Labor
It's very tiresome to queue 40,000 calories worth of epoxy. Please implement sometime in the future, an option to either automatically eat, or to automatically work nearby projects. So that you can focus on only one of those rather than needing to alternate them.
Edit: It could work by, instead of stopping at 'however many calories you have' when you alt click, a new state of 'queued labor' fill the project bar, and every second, if you are close to the table, it will take as many calories it can from you until it fills the project. I don't expect this implemented anytime soon, but please do some day.

40,000 calories worth of labor cannot be alt clicked, you need to alternate alt clicking and eating, then you need to do it for 12 tables

We thought about this, but decided on purpose to not have something like that, it's simply too unrealistic even for an abstraction. We want you to be near your tables and needing to interact with it.

Meh, I just made a script to spam right clicks without moving the mouse and stopped caring about food quality, a house is much more important than food anyways and it's unrealistic to get a 7th star before the laser is done at my current server settings anyways.
Edit: Also, do not ever let 'realism' get in the way of usability, do it in another way, like limiting the maximum amount of work queued to 24 hours per table for instance.

Eating tons of food to running machines is realistig ok ... sorry but the hole food system is ♥♥♥♥♥♥

the point here, is that a normal person doesn't run 12 machines simultaneously ... its just not possible, the game is simply reflecting this factor by not letting the player do the work of 6 people. having to consume nearly as much food as 6 people makes sense.

And here comes the point where you have to see if you don't overdo it. Look at all the servers how fast the population is going down. The game has turned into a huge grind. The idea is great but unfortunately it doesn't work really well in the MP because everyone is online at different times. Reality, but don't forget that it is also a game.
