Is it possible to mod stack sizes?
Does anybody know if it's possible to mod stack sizes that you carry? Currently I'm tired of walking over to the stockpile to pick up only 15 hewn logs at a time. I'd like to change it to where I can carry like 50 or 100 hewn logs so that I can get on with the funner side (to me) of the game, building my huge log home.

Anybody know how I can accomplish this?

why dont you just link the stockpiles together with the workstations ?

if you build them close enough you can bypass carrying them by dragging the resouces from one stockpile to the other stockpile, via the storage tabs... and then the workstation will take it from the second stockpile.

which is what i wished it did automatically, then i can achieve full automation between stockpiles/chests that are linked to each other across the whole planet. Currently workstations only take from a stockpile with twelve tiles from it.

Yes it's possible. The first server I was on, the dude who bought it changed some things, like carrying stacks, adding tailings to asphault, and some things with pollution.

Linked stockpiles are the bain to my existance in ECO. They seem to half work , half of the time.

Trying to put up a daisy chain of stockpiles and chests don't seem to work the way that I would think they intuitively would.

Is this for the local server you wanted to know how to set up, or the sp server?

yea i wish you could train them across each other, so anything put in stockpile 1 would just link across all ten stockpiles to the machine requiring it. but as long as workstations are in range of a single stockpile its all good

It is for my single player game (not running the server seperately).

For hewn logs open the following file with a text editor

\Steam\steamapps\common\Eco\Eco_Data\Server\Mods\AutoGen\Item\HewnLog.cs

and change the value for [MaxStackSize(15)] ;)

Thanks graphite!

Looks like there's plenty of files I can adjust (and or screw up) to change things around.

Absolutely CB ;)

But would suggest making backups of the *.cs files you alter before going overboard … otherwise you could end up with a total CF on your hands. Lol
