Running a local server?
So, I've already started a single player game and want to continue playing on my world but want to run it on the server so that I don't have to start from scratch.

Is there a way to move files from my single player game to make the server use the world files that I'm playing single player on and if so, what files and where?

Thanks

Hey CB,

Firstly delete any files in the dedicated server storage folder:
Normally found at \Steam\steamapps\common\Eco Server\Storage

Then copy all files from your single player server storage folder \Steam\steamapps\common\Eco\Eco_Data\Server\Storage over to the dedicated storage folder.

Launch the dedicated server, if you have port forwarded and don’t want others to join your game, at the configuration screen hit the network tab>then>config tab set the server from public = true to false or set a password and your good to go.

To play fire up eco, click the join button and you should see your server at the top of the list ;)

I will add make sure you copy all the Configs from your SP to the server. Accept the network.eco as it has stuff related to the server like ip ect

If you have tweaked the config files then yes, but I think CB is running the default configs so thats why I didn't bring it up ;)

Hey Scrooge, for it to be online you will need to forward ports 3000 and 3001 as TCP on your router. Also make sure that it is not being blocked by your firerwall and that your running dotnet framework 4.6 or higher ;)

Hey there

graphite's suggestion does not work for me. When I start the server, a file named Game.db and Game.eco is going to be created beside the files I copied in there and a standart default new map is being created :/
I don't know how to avoid EcoServer to generate that default new world instead of using my earlier created single player map.
Is there any argument possible like ecoserver.exe --game=singleplayermap.eco or something like that?
