Are there still FPS issues ?
Did they fix the FPS issue with the game eating more and more RAM while you play ?

I could have friends interested by the game, but I won't recommend them to buy it if they get "solid glorious 10 FPS" after 15 or 30 minutes ...

I don't know what the devs are doing, they talk about more and more content but no words about this issue... Let's wait for another year (sigh) , i'll be back for the same question.

CPU: 3900x OC'd to 4.4
RAM: 32GB 3600mhz CL14
GPU: 1080 OC'd

hooooo ya, still a super bad issue.

my cpu and gpu will be basically idle(including individual cores), but still fps drops to like 45 after an hour or so. no matter what graphic settings i use.

Maxed out, absolute minimum, basically the same results.

after 4 or 5 hours i'll start slinking down towards 20-30 fps :(

I play warhammer 3k on 4k graphics so I only get 30-40 fps ever and the game still looks fantastic to me. This game doesnt need more than 30 fps considered how slow paced it is. And to the OP what are your specs on your PC? My performance doesn't noticeably drop over time and I play for about 3 hours at a crack, although there usually is at least one disconnect or me reconnecting to fix an object disappearing. My gf's PC is a bit of potato so she plays with the resolution scale turned down and that helps alot. Grass looks jagged as all hell though.

While there are definitely issues with performance after extended play, the odds of you playing for that long at a time are fairly low. Most of the time you'll play for a few hours here and there. I still highly recommend the game to everyone even if they have to lower the resolution scale currently for good FPS. As was stated, 9.0 is going to drastically change the game and increase performance. So you may want to wait to recommend it until then, but it's still definitely worth the wait.

i7 3770 3,4ghz
evga 1070 ti OC

On my computer, it keep running above 30 fps on 1440p so no worries for me but my last friend with a not so decent PC get a refund because it began quickly unplayable.

Isn't "MSI 970" just the motherboard? Or are you saying a GTX 970?

Also, I played the game originally with a 750Ti and i5 easily with anywhere from 30-60fps. I now have a RTX 2060 and still an i5-7600k at 4ghz and run with over 50fps in populated areas but perfect 60 (cap) elsewhere. Performance definitely varies, but it's not extremely bad. Anything over 30 is playable for a game like this.

Pretty sure he means a GTX 970. MSI sells GPUs (usually a bit OC'ed above stock), so he probably has a 970 with the MSI logo all over it.

Also, when I say my fps cycles, I refer to the usual reduction in fps over time. I start at 60+, and slowly dwindle down to the 20s. Then, my game will freeze for a second, my fps will shoot back up to the 30-40s, only to dwindle back down to the 20s, and the cycle repeats until I restart the game.
