Did you find any solution ?
It's your game though so play as you wish, but from experrience it sucks and is totally not designed to be played that way...even if you have the customization option.
You'd be better off with minecraft since you have more creative freedom. If you want to play this game it was clearly designed to be played by many people interacting and creating their own issues/solution to the problems that arise.
Ye i guess you're totaly right on that, i just wanted to try and explore the game mecanics with a friend that's it.
But ye for sure it's meant to be played with many people and encounter the problems that a community create.
If you want to explore the game's mechanics, you want to play with as many people as possible. It's less of a game and more of a world simulation. Playing with one or two people gets extremely boring very fast since there's no collaboration. I don't just mean the collaboration setting but the actual feeling of community. If you play with like 7+ people on high collaboration, you really do have to all work together to make things happen. You really want to have at least 1 of every specialization.. so like 1 carpenter, 1 smith, etc. However, the really interesting part of the game comes in when you have 3 or more of each because then you get competition. With 1 of each you won't really get to experience currency since if you do set up a currency at that point, everyone has a monopoly.
As was said before though, it is your game and the option is there to play with as many people as you want or even solo it. However, the game is completely designed around having as many people as possible.
Another reason it's great to have so many people is that the world is constantly changing then. It's really fun when you can log off to take a break, sleep, etc then get back on and your neighbors have built more, tech has progressed, and so on. That's one of the entire points of the game.
Thanks for your feedback dude, very interesting to read !
Progression on this game is slow, but extremely rewarding. It took me like 3 days playing about 5+ hours a day to get a road system done (doing it alone). However, once it was done it made everything so much easier for everyone. If you play with just a handful of people, you won't really get that feeling though in my opinion since you'll progress so much faster due to not having enough people. Oddly, you do progress slower with more people due to having the higher collaboration setting.
