Moving items between inventories

Hello-
I don't remember how to move items between inventories. (I've been away from the game for a few weeks.)

I can transfer a whole stack by dragging dropping, of course, but what if I want to move, say half of a stack, or a certain number of items from a stack? I thought it was something like control-click, shift-click, alt-click, or right-click, but I can't figure it out.

It would be nice if there were a sticky on this, or an article in the wiki or something. It would be helpful to older players like me who tend to be forgetful! I can't find anything about it; I tried the wiki, Google, YouTube, etc., so here I am posting yet another question. Ha ha

Partial stack -> hold shift and click on item, select amount, drag out
All items of type -> hold shift and drag item (lucky find by dragging without stopping running)
