Water flow, aqueduct (doens't work?)
I was trying to build an aqueduct in order to build a farm and rise "soil mosisture" value in that piece of land... but, i don't know how to explain... simply the water doesnt flow, it stops after some blocks... What can i do?
I wanted to build something like that: https://scontent-mxp1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t31.0-8/14362673_1098717080218294_5891772320099722806_o.jpg?oh=845aa8549e4e7da78fef07255863e702&oe=5B217138
DON'T TELL ME THAT I HAVE TO BUILD IT WITH STONES OR SOMETHING SIMILAR PLS AHAHA

Not tried it myself but I remember reading somewhere its a case of water will stop flowing into normal blocks, so you probably will need to coat it with the same block. Just imagine, in theory, you opening up a nice new channel with bone dry dirt, all that waters going to get absorbed.

that is an old version of the game

i think they changed the water physiks because water doesn't flow at all, some on our server dug up the beach for sand and the water is just standing there like a wall.

i even tried to build a dam but even if you close up a river the water level on both sides doesn't change.

Why has no dev. take a stand on this question yet?

In the wiki there is written that the water flow is "deactivated" for this versione, they are going to fix it and re-enable it I think!

if you have a upgraded kickstarter account, you get direct access to the Devs and source code, they do not watch these or their own forums regularly, I have attached a screenshot of this option on the official ECO website.

A it's been nearly years since this thread originated- I'm asking why it's stull broken.

For esthetics we attempted to divert some water to a inland pond with homes built along the creek. It did exactly what the OP reported years ago. It behaves oddly, doesn't flow into inad ravines or remap itself to the adjusted terraform.

Anyone have any ETA on this? And yes, I know it's still in "Early Access"

Because it's not a bug. We simply have no water physics and while implementing them is a goal, it's not a high priority one and not scheduled yet.

So we need Water for farming ... and food and living and its not high priority ? So we have to do a total wrong gameplay only planting near water and only small farms .. nice

@SLG-Dennis , 8 - 10.0 and it's still crap
