There is no need to make multiple characters, you just make the same character master every skill. This said i find most peole on the online servers learn everything over time anyway, so its kinda moot in the end in all fairness.
All your going to lose is most of the mechanics such as trading, economy aspects, blah, blah
When i go online, most the stores cant buy anything anyway because they have not got enough currency or something, not to mention they only sell the crap they dont want, which generally means you dont want it either...
Nobody seems to bother leasing/renting their stations, and if you do, they have their own anyway which is free to use. So you never make anything from that either. Then we have the large communitys, where all the best land is taken, tree damage everywhere, and what i can only describe as complete junk construction projects.
the one i play online is very good, not many players, but they all have taken great care to construct something really nice, but the rest of the stuff is not really so great as i say. i generally log on in the morning or a little bit, spend my XP, jump onto my SPserver, then before bed repeat the online for a little bit spend that XP again.
For me the care of the planet and the construction overrides the other stuff like the economy
Anyway, thanks again, I think I'll see about getting it soon and checking it out with my wife.
