DONT BUY THE GAME WHEN YOU WANT PLAY OFFLINE!!! Offline playing does NOT work!!!

Devs, can you tell me why i must have a f**king internet connection? I want play alone in offline mode!!!! Whats your problem? Why i dont have a main menu without internet????

Damn, I want to get this, but I live in an area that loses the internet several times a week. Always online pc games are a turn off. Best of luck on this game, Ill reconsider if an offline option ever comes

its NOT fixed.. the fact is the game phones home in order to launch. that is unacceptable for a single player mode.

He already unplugged his network cable, I think that is sufficient :D
Offline mode is a feature we want and have. We had some problems with that a few hours ago, but it should be resolved by now.

steam can be in offline mode and still have a game connect to the games servers..

yea, most people should probably learn how to use the english language before posting on forums too.. not like the store page doesnt have a SINGLE PLAYER icon or anything right there for the world to see.

Well there is a local single player it makes a server but localy so no network needed

I can play on my computer locally without being online yes or not? I like survival games like the forest they started sp offiline and added multiplayer later p2p. So can i play sp like the forest without an internet connection or not some guy just said he played offline. OTherwise your alienating potential customers.

You don't need to be online in order to play.

No external connection or hardware required. Well ... besides downloading the game itself, obviously.

EDIT: That said, ECO really isn't a "survival" game. You can't starve, drown, sleep or take damage in any fashion. Meteors are the only thing that can kill you.
