Eco
Is there a reason wild animals can't attack?
Obviously PvP isn't in the game and I get that but in what way is making wild animals unable to defend themselves in any way realistic?

The game is made for a classroom. No health for the human player and no death either.

Spares the devs the need to develop systems for player damage and death. You can't hurt yourself by falling either, or by dropping a ton of rocks or a tree on your head.
Though the game doesn't really NEED health, arguably. The goal is to make the planet survive not yourselves.

I guess you are too young to understand yet, but sometimes people like chill things. Like doing puzzles, taking a walk, relaxing with a good book. Values that most youngester today, don't know how to appriciate. They don't understand them, and they start namecalling people that are not 100% like them. Don't worry, you get it as you get older.

It's the point of the game. This is not Rust, the focus is on society-building and saving the planet. Your PvP lies in different political and economical opinions and that can and does already lead to lots of drama that is too much for some people.

Eco is a game you can play chilled or go full PvP with economical or political solutions - just not with violence, which you already have in pretty much every other survival game. We wanted to do something different that fits the whole concept.

PvP in Eco, due to the little reluctance of people to use violence in games in opposite to real life, would make Eco unplayable. People would just resort to violence directly, instead of using economics, politics and talking to solve problems, making the problem much bigger and pretty much failing automatically. In some areas of the worlds this actually even happens in real life.
