Anyone will get a free Steam key for Eco if they purchased the game before February 6 2018.
Alpha players will be getting aesthetic items in their invetories as "Alpha Rewards". After the beta release date, the price of the game will be reduced to $30.

If you buy the game through the web site before steam release, when the game releases on steam you will get Alpha awards (in game items) and a icon that shows you were an alpha backer. You will also get an option in your SLG account to link your Eco account to steam but its tied to your Eco account and is not a separate 'steam key' and so cannot be sold or given away.

This was posted by the devs in discord

- Price will be dropped to $30 at Steam launch.
- Pricing will be regional, using Steam's standard rates
- Everyone who has bought prior to that will have Alpha rewards in their inventories when they start a server, or perhaps craftable later (Meteor shard, top hat, goggles)
- On your SLG account page, you can click a link to login to Steam and add Eco to your account. This means that it must be tied to your Steam account that you login to, and you cant resell it.
- Your Steam and SLG accounts will be linked, and you can only login to one account at a time with them (so you cant share simultaneously)
- People who buy on Steam can create an SLG account and connect it to their Steam purchase. They can then upgrade that account on SLG (getting multi-packs, dev tier, etc). Since SLG and Steam accounts are unified, these rewards will apply to either way of playing the game

when did this game go on sale before? i saw that people who purchased before will get some sort of bonus i guess youd call it i would have def purchased it before had i seen it. all teh gameplay that ive seen of it looks amazing bummed i missed out on the keys and the prepurchase ive been waiting for this game to drop for some time now.now 30-40 bucks.../: thats a bummer guess im going to have a chance to watch alot of game play when it drops before i decide on the buy now...

Hi the prices never dropped in price yet. The game is currently on Alpha. The game will drop by 10 for every currency on February 6 2018. The game will be available on Steam and Alpha players will get a Steam key for Eco. Anybody who bought the game on Eco's website before the Beta release date will get Alpha items in their inventories.

Ya this game will be 30 at its first and only sale price when it comes to steam. its been out for years now as prepurchase on their website. (which comes with a steam key)

Yes you and the other user that received the extra copy of Eco will get an extra Eco Steam key. This applies to follow packs:
* Four Pack
* Developer Pack
* Wolf Whisperer
* Classroom
The Alpha Pack users will get a Steam key as well.
