Problems placing objects since update

I have noticed that I am having major difficulty placing objects since the update. The text saying that the object can be placed here is shown, but clicking does nothing. I have worked out that rotating the camera to a different angle solves this, but it is annoying to have to do that so much. This appears to occur mostly when trying to place an object next to a wall.

Has anyone else experienced this? My sister also has the game and has the same issue.

This is also true when trying to select objects to edit settings on them...very irritating :(

Yeah I'm experience this too. I have a theory why It's doing it, though I may be wrong, but I've noticed that about 1/3 of my screen starting from the far right doesn't allow you to place objects though it does say you can, and thinking about it if you take off that 1/3 of the screen, it resembles a 4:3 screen ratio like how the game was before the HD update however where you can place the object, rather being at the center of your screen (where a normal 4:3 resolution would be), the "playable" screen is pushed to the far left of you screen, while adding the extra part of the screen making look like it's a 16:9 resolution. But what I don't understand is that while you can't "do anything", like place objects, etc in the extra 1/3 of your screen, you can press the on screen buttons in the "extra" part of your screen.

So basically, the menu's have been updated to use the 16:9 resolutions, but the actual "in-game" stuff like placing objects, clicking of floors, etc, haven't been properly updated to use the 16:9 resolutions.

Anyway, I know I didn't fix anything, and I know it's annoying, but hopefully I'm right about this, and might seen and fixed by the devs.

That makes a lot of sense! I haven't played for a while as my windows stopped working for some reason (I'm on a mac and was running through bootcamp) but I really miss the game and I hope they manage to fix it, although I'm not sure if they are still working on it or supporting it.

The fix is easy:

When this occur, just hit your WINDOWS touch on keyboard, (for go back to desktop without exit the game), and then click on its window in the taskbar for come back into the game where you left it !

It's not working for me. :( I've tried it several times.

Set up a new resolution then, and refresh your screen !
