To get customers to stay you can do a few things. 1, most obvious but you never know, is have guest rooms for them to stay in. 2, advertise the hotel rooms (F1 > Hotel Details > Advertising (looks like a TV)) 3, create packages that include your rooms (F1 > Hotel Details > Hotel Packages (last icon on that panel)) 4, deal with any complaints you may have about your hotel from customers, this will also increase the satisfaction rating.
Guest rooms are rated on what's inside them & the quality, also the size of the room. So if you are trying to charge a high rate for a room the customer expects better quality of items within that room. To see the guest room rating you can simply double click on the room and if you click on the "i" button it'll tell you the satisfaction for that type of room, occupancy, grade of the room & the size of the room.
