Steam Link 3 controllers not working

I got steam link and use a steam controller + xbox 360 + ps3/ps4 controller and it works fine with other games but with this game it works for a few matches until one of the controllers switches from player and can't do anything anymore. It works fine with 2 players but 3 just seems to glitch.

Thanks for the report. Could you try with x360ce for ps3/ps4 controler and/or steam controller?

I only have one xbox 360 controller and one steam controller, I did try with 2 controllers with one being a xbox 360 and the other ps3 which worked just fine.

When it switches from player as you described it. Does it control another player or none of them?

It just stops working, works again if I restart the game, then after a few matches (random number around 2-5 usually) same happens. Steam Link isn't orignally made for ps3/ps4 controllers so it might be a bit glitchy, though it worked alright with another game.

Do you recall if it is during the same mini game that the problem starts? I can't see why it should work for a few games and then stop. Because there is no change in the code for gamepads during the entire game. So it sounds like steam link drops the connection for some reason.

Have you played other local multiplayer games which work for three players with your setup or only singleplayer games?

I'm pretty sure it was at a random mini game, so not the same. The other game I am mentioning was with 3 players and with the setup xbox 360, steam controller + ps4. When I have more games and done more testing (steam summer sale upcoming ^^) I will add additional experiences to this topic.

Just a quick update, dunno if it was the latest patch or that a ps3 contoller instead of a ps4 was used as third controller (steam controller + xbox 360 are the other two) but everything worked just fine today!

I haven't changed anything in the latest patch regarding that so it must have to do with the ps3 controller. But glad it works. Thank you for the update!
