Got it working on Win 10

Section 8 had been refusing to load for a while now. This is what I did to finally get it working. What steps were important I don't know so I'm just going to describe all of them.

Fresh install Win 10.
Downloaded the sequel Section 8: Prejudice.
GFWL message said it was not compatible.
Updated GFWL here: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/pc/downloadclient
Started Prejudice. Logged into GFWL with my account. Downloaded profile.

Next I downloaded the first Section 8. Attempted to run it and nothing happened.

Here's where I may run afoul of the T&C's here but whatever, I paid for the game.

I replaced the S8.exe with one from s-k-d-r-w. I didnt change anything else. Just replaced the .exe

I started the game from that .exe and not through Steam. After a short delay it started up. GFWL prompted for my CD key which I pasted from Steam.

GFWL says there is an update for the game but the update fails to install because the .exe doesnt match. However my profile is there intact and the game runs perfectly fine. Even saves my progress in SP. Just ignore the message to update.

The only real change is the s-k-d-r-w S8.exe.

Hope this helps any Section 8 fans out there trying to get this game to run.
Oh, disable the Steam updates for this game under properties so it won't try to replace the .exe with the original.
