[Gear VR]Unable play with ps4 controller

Hi,

I'm trying to play my steam games with virtual desktop and my ps4 controller paired via bluetooth with my mobile, but it isn't works correctly and I don't found any option to map the buttons.

I only checked the option to be able to use the controller, but when I start a game the camera gets crazy and begins to rotate on itself.

What can I do? Thanks!

I had the same problem. And searched all over the net for a fix of it without root. And now there is! If you update to the newest Android version (Android 9) then the buttons for the ps4 controllers should be mapped correctly. They had this problem for a very long time and google finally finally fixed it with the newest Android version. The update just came out for the S9 and Note9 a few days ago, you might have to wait a month or so if you have an older samsung.

That’s great news, thanks for letting us know! Unfortunately Oculus Go owners will be out of luck since it’s impossible to update the Android version.

Lot of thanks!!! I have a Note 9, but the new update for Android 9 has not appeared still on my phone :(. I will wait for it and then I will try again with the ps4 controller :)
