Occulus pc app & VD

I searched here but cant find a related post.
So, i have installed games through the Occulus app on my pc (for example The Walking Dead). But when I try to launch it through VD, the Occulus app tries to detect my Quest 2 through the cable link, and says that the headset is not connected.
So, I cannot run games with Occulus app via VD? (sorry but im new with the VR thing...). Only steam games?

You have to launch your games from the Games tab in the virtual desktop menu. The Oculus desktop app won’t ever detect the headset.
