Answer to simple question (using quest 2)

I know this is asked so many times in discussion but still i am confused/unclear

Does using USB type c and VD (Steam edition) allow higher bitrate for desktop steaming?

Background: i already have VD from oculus store. Its the only purchase i made in store and i love it. Games are running and smooth and stuff. Now a days i am using VD just to watch videos/movies/series via potplayer(PC) in desktop mode. Its great but its not as clear as playing games via steamvr in VD(wireless). Perhaps Desktop is streamed at lower bitrate or resolution (60mbps?). Thats y i wana know whether if i get PC(steam) version, i can stream desktop at higher resolution/bitrate?. my display is 21:9 display aspect ratio. i am asking this question just for streaming desktop, nothing else. Thanks.
