Turn off touch input while in a game?
Ive got everything working on my Quest. I can wirelessly connect and play my Quest, Rift and Steam games with no wired connection.

Awesome, except for one major issue.

One of my games, Vox Machinae uses the menu button to recenter its view in game. So, I cannot start the game as the first thing you have to do is center your view with the menu button.

Id there a way to turn off Virtual Desktop intercepting the touch controller keys while in a game?

Thanks

Oh sorry misread that, it's not possible to rebind the Oculus button

What I mean is, the game, Vox Machinae uses a long press on the left menu button to recenter its view. When I have Virtual Desktop going and run the game from there I cannot recenter my view in this game because Virtual Desktop intercepts the long press on the menu button which brings up Virtual Desktop.

Will future versions of Virtual Desktop allow for turning off intercepting the menu or view button so that games that use them can be played?

I’ll look into tweaking the long press time to switch back for Vox Mchinae in that case, thanks for the precision

Tested Vox Machinae locally and you have to press the left Thumstick down, not the menu button. I’ll fix the fact that the game doesn’t launch from the Games tab but if launched from SteamVR and using the Thumbstick press should get you going.

Thanks!

The Oculus version defaults to using the left menu button to recenter view, however, I was able to remap it to use the left stick press to recenter the view.
