Any way to play 360 videos in VR?

it always crashes when i open these videos and even if it plays its just wraps around image without any VR effect.

Which VR headset do you have and what’s the crash messsge you get?

oculus rift cv1 - no crash messages - player just cant play 360 videos in VR mode with head tracking - its just wraps around image without vr effect

I’m not sure I understand your issue. When you play your videos through the “Videos” tab in Virtual Desktop, it will render them on a sphere around you; that’s basically what 360 videos are

reason i asked this question - ITS NOT RENDERED AS SPHERE AROUND YOU. its just shows ugly spliced 2 images - distorted image without head tracking

since nobody can screen record virtual desktop - cause it didn't show up on pc screen (only on vr set) - you can lie and say that it works right?

The video you have there doesn’t use any known projection; it’s side-by-side but vertical and uses 4 strips..
