games don't run full screen anymore!

Hi guys
After the new update now my games don't run full screen in virtual desktop. Any game i run immediately minimizes to desktop. It doesn't crash, just keeps minimizing itself. I'm on Windows 10, GTX1080. Tried allowing injection but no difference, disabling Steam's game theatre also doesn't change anything. Without Virtual desktop (if i close it) they run full screen without a problem. This includes games that were tested before in VD and were working. Please help!

I just tested two different games (Rocket League and Euro Truck) and they run correctly fullscreen for me with both Rift and Vive. So it is likely another app which is causing this issue.

Hey ggodin thanks for replying. I've got Vive. Games work fine when virtual desktop isn't running, so doesn't look like it's caused by another app. As far as I'm aware this happened after the new update. Is there any way to revert to an old update to see if that fixes the problem?

I didn't change anything related to game capture in the last update. Make sure to uncheck "Allow Injection" it is known to not behave well with Steam.

"Allow Injection" is unchecked. I can fully confirm this is 100% to do with the new update. Maybe it doesn't happen to a lot of people that's why it hasn't been reported before. But I can confirm I tried with an old build which works perfectly.
For some reason the only game that works with the new build is Rise of the Tomb Raider

Which game causes the issue, I'll give it another shot from here.

Titanfall 2, Dishonored 2, Battlefield Hardline, Witcher 3.

Same problem,
Lot of games minimize when in fullscreen. Can not activate them from the taskbar, they minimize again.
Games with this problem: The Witcher 3, MWF3, Crysis 2, Bayonetta ...
Games that works fine: Rise of the Tomb Raider, Trine 3, MWF3

Make sure to uncheck “Allow Injection”. This option should only be necessary on Windows 7

Thank you for rhe answer but unfortunally unchecking "Allow Injection" did not solve the problem. The game appears for a moment but next the windows desktop application get the focus.

It might be some interaction with Steam. In the SteamVR options make sure to uncheck anything that says play Steam games through SteamVR game theater (I don’t have a PC in front of me)
